We have created this assignment for you to evaluate your ability to plan, organize, and execute creative projects while balancing production and assistant direction responsibilities.

The Assignment

- Part 1: Creative Development Scenario: You’ve been tasked with creating a 30-second brand story video for a startup launching a plant-based protein snack. Your Tasks:
- Part 2: Pre-Production Planning Using the concept you created in Part 1:
- Part 3: Problem Solving on Set Scenario: During the shoot, the following issues arise:
- Part 4: Creative Pitch Deck Task: Design a visually appealing pitch deck for this project using Canva or similar tools. The deck should include:

Final Deliverables:
- Make a ppt, notion doc, or anything that lets you put your points across the best!
- Attach the assignment in an email that must be sent to us. In the email, a description of the creative decisions you made and why (be as descriptive as possible). Ex: how did you interpret the concept? What steps did you take to avoid a cluttered design?
- Attach the consolidated project file to an email and mail it to [email protected] and CC [email protected] with the Subject Line: “I want to create the work of my life: here’s proof”

Evaluation Criteria

Your submission will be evaluated based on:
- Creative Concept & Alignment: Does the proposed concept align with the brief and target audience? Is it innovative and impactful?
- Production Feasibility: Are the proposed plans for the budget, shot list, and schedule realistic and well thought out?
- Clarity of Communication: Are the ideas, plans, and problem-solving responses clearly articulated and easy to understand?
